Hey! So Glad You're Here.

Vicki Weger, a Terre Haute native, has been a broadcast journalist for more than 4 decades.  She was Assignments Editor during the heyday of WTHI-TV with Patrece Dayton and Mark Allen.  She has worked for CBS, PBS, and most extensively NBC Network News on 4 continents, covering some of the biggest stories of our time, including the O.J. Simpson murder trial, capture of Ted Kaczynski -- the Unabomber, Lech Walesa awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in Gdansk, Poland , Apartheid in South Africa and World Olympics.  Her husband, Teddy Elbert, was Bureau Chief for NBC News in Frankfurt Germany, Paris, France, and Moscow.  She was with the NBC Crew that received the National Emmy for News Story of the Year, for covering the Red River floods in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Vicki has received numerous journalism awards and is a member of the Indiana Broadcast Journalism Hall of Fame.
